A newcomer to Downtown Birmingham, The Bird & The Bread is no novice when it comes to good food and wine. Owner Kristin Jonna is a veteran in the realm of fine wine, and co-owns Vinology in Ann Arbor, and Vinotecca in Royal Oak.

At The Bird & The Bread, you’ll find a dedication to locally-derived food and drinks, with many items brewed, distilled or grown right here in Michigan. Jonna’s current menu offers several suggestions for celebrating Michigan Wine Month.

Stopping by for cocktail and appetizer with friends? The A2 Spritz features Ferndale’s own Valentine Vodka, apricot, fresh lemon juice, almond extract and 45 North Sparkling Peach Cremant.
